Where to stay
We suggest staying in or near Moussata, towards the South East of the island (this is where we're having the reception). Our wedding planner has recommended some other villages nearby, too: Vlachata, Karavados, Lourdata and Trapezaki. There are plenty of accommodation options but we recommend booking early!
Getting around
The ceremony and reception are at two locations, a 50 minute drive from each other. We're organising a bus service to take you to the ceremony from and around Moussata, and then to the reception. It's a lovely, scenic drive across the island up to the stunning monastery on the hill! When you have booked your accommodation, please let us know where you are staying. We will update the details here once we have the bus schedule.
We're also looking to put on shuttles at the end of the night to take you back to your nearby accommodation. We'll also update this information closer to the time.

Getting to Kefalonia
There are daily, direct flights to Kefalonia from London, Manchester, Athens and across Europe. Kefalonia airport is 7 kilometers outside of Argostoli, the capital and largest town of Kefalonia.
The wedding day

Dress code: Formal, cocktail party. Men, please wear a jacket and tie (you can take these off after the photographs). Ladies, we don't recommend stilettos as the ground is gravel, so suggest something with a thicker heel! Kiwis - no jandles please.
Head to the reception

Busses will take you from the ceremony to the reception.
Relax, have a drink and mingle
Get to know each other, soak up the afternoon sun and play some lawn games.
Welcome the newlyweds

We dance the night away
Featuring a DJ and saxophonist duet.

Ithaca
Ithaca is a small island nearby, which is only 25 minutes by ferry from Sami. Walk to Odysseus' 1300BC Palace - it's meant to be breath-taking.

There are hundreds of sea turtles swimming around the harbour at Argostoli throughout the year!

Head to the North, rent a boat and cruise around the North East coast.
Questions you might have
Can I bring a plus one?
If your partner's name is on the invitation, they are invited! If they're not and are joining you on holiday, please chat to us as they might be able to join us for part of the celebrations.
Can I bring my kids?
Unfortunately not. The only little ones that will be there are our close family members.
What about gifts?
Honestly you travelling to Greece to celebrate with us is our gift! We really appreciate you coming all the way to be with us. But if you would like to, we would love for you to contribute to our honeymoon fund.
